1st Grade Reading

  • Please review these high frequency words from each lesson with your child. Click here for a list of this week's words. For the week of Oct. 5-9, we are on lesson 6
  • In addition to the 1st grade words on the above link, we are reviewing each day the words listed here. Click  here to view these Kindergarten sight words they must know.

 

 

 

4th Grade Reading

  • A spelling Pretest is given each Monday and a final one that Friday. Click here for a list of this week's words. 

5th grade Math

  • DROPS are given out every Friday. They are to be turned in the following Friday. Students can meet with me during Teacher P.E to get help on these.
  • Homework is assigned nightly, usually Monday-Thursday. It is due the following day. These are most often Study Links.
  • Some students are pulled to my room for the last 30 minutes of class. At this time we do "holey cards" for multiplication facts reinforcement.
  • Please take time to practice basic facts with your child. There are many great websites available that have games, flashcards, worksheets, etc to reinforce and practice. Please see the LINKS at the bottom of this page for these great resources.
